Cockpit2Ground is designed for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. Compatibility with future simulator versions will be added as they become available. Further it is also working with Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 – no support.

Cockpit2Ground is available for Windows PC.

Cockpit2Ground works with all default Microsoft Flight Simulator aircraft as well as the vast majority of third-party aircraft supported by GSX. Advanced aircraft featuring interactive intercom systems, such as Fenix and PMDG, benefit from additional immersion through aircraft-specific integration.

Yes. Cockpit2Ground enhances and replaces the communication system used by FSDreamTeam GSX, making it a required dependency.

Absolutely. Realism is at the heart of Cockpit2Ground. We work closely with real-life airline pilots and ground crew to recreate authentic phraseology, procedures, pronunciations and communication flows. Depending on where you fly, you’ll hear regional accents, local greetings and even complete language packs—such as fully German ground crew communications at airports throughout Germany.

Yes. Cockpit2Ground includes multiple language packs covering airports around the world. In addition to international English communications with regional accents, selected countries feature complete native-language voice packs for an even more immersive experience.
Yes. Ground crew communication can react to weather conditions and the current time of day, making operations feel more natural and believable.
Make sure you have the volume knob on the radio panel of your aircraft turned up. Cockpit2Ground reads the position of the actual radio panel volume knob and sets the volume of the application accordingly (only for supported aircrafts). Also check if you have set the correct audio output device inside the AUDIO settings of Cockpit2Ground.
The tug will disconnect and the headset will be removed only after all engines have successfully started. This is according to real-life procedures.
Open the Audio Settings tab and make sure you click FIX on the GSX warning message to disable the original GSX audio.
Yes. Cockpit2Ground offers multiple audio presets that simulate different communication equipment—from crystal-clear professional headsets to older, worn radio systems with authentic imperfections. Tho, you can not implement your own audio recordings.

Yes. We plan to continuously expand Cockpit2Ground with additional countries, regional accents and localized language packs based on community feedback and demand.
No. Cockpit2Ground has been designed to integrate seamlessly with GSX while maintaining excellent performance and a minimal impact on simulator resources. C2G will automatically go in idle mode during cruise when it is not needed and re-activates after you have landed.
Yes. An active internet connection is required to use Cockpit2Ground. You also need it to use Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024.
Yes. Cockpit2Ground is designed as a client-side enhancement to your own simulator experience and can be used while flying online or in multiplayer sessions.
Airport names are triggered randomly during arrival and departure communications, adding natural variation to each turnaround. So you will not hear the departure or arrival airport name everytime – as in real life.
Everything is working correctly. The orange speaker icon indicates that your aircraft’s radio/intercom volume is set to zero. Turn up the volume on your radio panel to hear the ground crew.
